AuDHD Group Therapy
New group loading….spring 2027
In-person AuDHD group therapy for adults in the Kansas City area, held at our yoga studio in Prairie Village, KS.
Who it’s for
If you’re an AuDHD adult who’s spent therapy sessions explaining autism and ADHD basics before you could even get to what’s actually going on, this group was built to skip that step entirely.
Facilitated by an AuDHD Clinician
This group is facilitated by AuDHD specialist Cherish Freeman, LCPC, who brings both clinical training and lived AuDHD experience to how this group is designed. That means the pace, structure, and content are built around how AuDHD brains actually work, not adapted after the fact from a neurotypical model.

This group is a strong fit if:
You’ve been in therapy before but found yourself teaching your therapist about AuDHD before getting to your actual concerns
You’re looking for a space built around AuDHD needs
You want practical tools you can start using between sessions, not just talk therapy
You’re craving connection with others who understand the AuDHD experience
A formal diagnosis is not required to join. Self-identification is valid, and you’re welcome here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the group running now?
Not right now. The last group ran August 27 to October 1. It may run again. Email cherish@panaceakc.com to hear if it does.
What’s the sensory environment like?
The space is designed to be low-sensory: soft lighting and optional soft music, held in our yoga studio. You’ll have your choice of seating (yoga mats, bolsters, tables, or chairs), and you’re welcome to bring whatever sensory items help you feel comfortable, like fidgets, headphones, blankets, or anything else you need.
Where exactly is the studio, and is there parking?
We’re located at the corner of 78th & State Line Rd. There’s ample parking in the lot. Park in back, come in through the back door, and it’s the first door on the left.
Do I need a formal diagnosis to join?
Absolutely not! Self-identification is valid, and you don’t need a formal diagnosis to participate in this group.
What does it cost, and do you accept insurance?
This group is $45 per session and insurance is not accepted for this group.
Is this confidential?
Yes. I keep what you share confidential, the same as in individual therapy. I also ask every member to keep what others share private. Members are not bound by the same legal rules, so I can’t guarantee it.
I have another question not answered here — who do I contact?
