Have you had trouble finding a therapist who makes you feel seen and validated? As a biracial woman, I’m aware that we live in a world where folks are not treated equally and how this transcends into the therapeutic space. I have a dedication toward working with individuals who often get overlooked by society. Acknowledging the systemic impacts that my clients of varying identities face is essential to our work together. Authenticity is something I bring to each session. My holistic approach upholds the principles of body neutrality and sex positivity to create a compassionate environment free of shame.

We will take a collaborative approach to understand each client's identity and how that impacts their self and world views. I bring a multifaceted approach that combines many styles with an emphasis on ACT, CBT, DBT, and Feminist Theory. I am also LGBTQIA+ allied and inclusive of all professions.

Background

I am a Kansas City native and graduated from the University of Denver in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Socio-Legal Studies and French. In 2025, I graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During my time as a graduate student, I worked with adults in a community mental health setting, giving me more insight into the ways systemic shortcomings can impact my clients at no fault of their own. These experiences guide my approach to treating individuals.

In my personal life I am very much a cat lady. In my free time you can find me enjoying the outdoors, practicing aerial dance, practicing yoga, listening to music, and cooking. I love to travel and have lived in Denver and San Jose, Costa Rica before returning to Kansas City. I have worked in the service industry, making me familiar with everything that comes with it (if you know, you know).

I understand how hard it can feel to seek out support in a world that encourages us to bear it all alone, it does not have to be this way. I strive to provide a safe and affirming space for all of my clients to feel empowered to discover and show up as their most authentic self and am ready to support this journey.
